The special off-road vehicle is ASTRA HD9 66.48, equipped with recovery superstructure and hydraulic crane enabling evacuation of heavy and armoured military vehicles.

From 5 to 8 June 2024, the International Fair in Plovdiv is hosting the International Defence Products and Services Exhibition HEMUS for the 29th time in a row. It provides a platform for European and international companies to demonstrate their innovations to a wide audience that includes their partners from the defence and security industry, high-ranking representatives of government institutions and the Armed Forces.

Bulauto Bulgaria, an importer of the full range of IVECO GROUP trucks, presents at its stand a special off-road vehicle for recovery of vehicles with 6×6 drive. The front bumper of the vehicle has been reinforced, with a Kangaroo Winch KN30000 hydraulic winch mounted, with a towing capacity of 13000 kg.

The recovery superstructure is OMARS 11 OT, a hydraulic heavy-duty recovery hoist mounted to the main boom, constructed of high-strength steel telescopic arms, with a minimum outreach of 2800 mm and a minimum lifting capacity of 4000 kg.

The equipment also includes a FASSI hydraulic crane model F275A.0.23. The overall design of the specialized vehicle, as well as the installation of the crane on the vehicle and the additional equipment, is done by the Bulauto team at its facility in Sofia, for which we were personally greeted by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria during his visit to the stand.
